The Environment as a Major Target

After being awarded ISO 9001 in 2018 for its quality management system, PARIFEX continues to strengthen its management of quality system and become ISO 14001 certified. This certification provides assurance that the environmental impact of the company activities is being measured and improved. It also guarantees that the company aims to provide an optimal quality service to customers. Audrey Gasse, Improvement Continuous Manager at PARIFEX declares: “PARIFEX is a forerunner in environmental issues and will be already involved in an energy policy when the environmental wave will come in the coming years”. Indeed, PARIFEX has carried out its carbon balance and set up many actions in order to improve energy savings.

A deep client benefit

And the certification has been carried out in a wider context. While the European Union encourages its members to halve their greenhouse gas emissions, PARIFEX is already committed to meeting regulatory requirements and customers’ expectations. « This certification is a true recognition for our company, explains Franck Peyré, PARIFEX President, because it shows that we are convinced that an environmental approach will be necessary in the future and we want to be an actor of it. The certification recognizes the commitment, efforts and improvements of the different departments of the company for several years. We also hope that our clients could benefit from our efforts to improve their own carbon footprint.”

As for the ISO 9001, the certification has been a central project in the company. All the employees have been involved in the environmental objectives and the change of everyday habits, such as reducing the number of printings, recycling waste, turning off the computer every evening…
