25 April, 2023 – Paris, France – PARIFEX and GET Group Holdings, a leading provider of innovative solutions, have announced their new partnership. 

As part of the agreement, GET Group will be the authorized distributor in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. GET Group will promote the Radars Technology such as PARIFEX NANO-CAM and PARIFEX Double-Side VIGIE.

PARIFEX NANO-CAMThe PARIFEX NANO-CAM is a cutting-edge 3D-LiDAR based sensing solution, built to improve road safety and traffic monitoring. The solution can be easily integrated into smart car parks, smart cities, autonomous vehicles projects, etc. PARIFEX Double-Side VIGIE is an extra-urban speed control system that operates day and night and can monitor speed limit violations differentiated by lane and vehicle category. To ensure that the offending vehicle is correctly identified, it takes pictures of the vehicle from the front and the rear thanks to its real-time vehicle tracking technology.

Paris, France l 19 May 2022 – PARIFEX, a major French company that develops and produces multi-violation and road counting solutions, is proud to announce that its NANO sensor has been registered by the French laboratory of metrology and tests (LNE). The NANO becomes the very first speed enforcement system including a 3D-LiDAR sensor registered in compliance with the International organization of legal metrology and French decrees worldwide.

The 3D-LiDAR technology stands out in speed enforcement systems

The NANO sensor including the 3D-LiDAR technology has been officially registered by the French laboratory of metrology and tests (LNE). It becomes the very first speed control system using a 3D-LiDAR sensor. « We are very proud to be the first company to offer an innovative speed control system including a 3D-LiDAR sensor. This official registration rewards more than six years of research and development, says Franck Peyré, PARIFEX’s CEO. This is a major first for the LNE and PARIFEX which have been working together on this project.” Indeed, the traditional doppler has been replaced by the advanced 3D-LiDAR technology. PARIFEX maintains its position as pioneer offering even more precise, efficient, and scalable speed control systems.

A new step for speed control systems

Through this new registration, PARIFEX and its NANO sensor pave the way of the use of 3D-LiDAR technology for speed enforcement systems. According to Désiré Codo, PARIFEX’s R&D Manager, “LiDAR makes the operators experience easier. It is easy to set up through the 360-Degree view and does not need any specific orientation. It allows to reduce the civil engineering costs and the verification of facilities. It provides a 3D map of the environment through a fast and unmatched processing time.” Indeed, unlike the usual speed cameras, this cutting-edge solution enables to get more reliable data in any environment, even if in humidity conditions.

A highly precise device

This compact, light and easy transported device is suitable for whether fixed or mobile use. It is the perfect device to collect traffic data and meet smart cities needs in road counting, vehicle classification and object detection. Finally, this scalable solution enables many different kinds of controls since it is able to detect obstacles on level crossing, vehicle in reverse, stop, lateral distance, inter-vehicle distance, pedestrians, etc.

Paris, Wednesday 25th August 2021 – PARIFEX, a leading solution provider in project management for speed enforcement and smart cities, is pleased to exhibit at ITS World Congress 2021, hall 7 – booth #7015. The greatest show dedicated to global mobility market players will take place in Hamburg, Germany. In this occasion, PARIFEX will show the Double-Side VIGIE, an extra-urban speed control system, the NANO-CAM, an innovative sensor including a 3D LiDAR for mobile speed enforcement and real time data collection such as vehicle counting and classification, etc., as well as the NOMAD, a multi-infringement sensor designed to fit in the urban infrastructure.

VIGIE Double-Side, the extra-urban speed control system

The Double-Side VIGIE solution has been designed for an extra-urban use. This off-road system allows to detect various speeding vehicles on different lines simultaneously and collect data such as vehicle classification, dimensions, distances, etc. The VIGIE Double-Side controls through front and rear pictures of the vehicle allowing motorcycle control and the multi lanes monitoring.

Speed enforcement relies on 3D technology though the NANO-CAM

The NANO range can be used in multiple situations in order to manage traffic road safety. It has been designed for vehicle counting and road control and is able to collect data from any urban and extra-urban environment. Equipped with a camera or not, this light, compact, and easily transportable sensor is easy to setup on an existing infrastructure or on the top of a tripod. Through the camera, the NANO-CAM allows speed enforcement in any environment and in a 360-degree view. It enables to collect highly accurate data in real time such as speed, dimensions, direction, distance of any static or moving objects.

NOMAD, the urban multiviolation sensor

The NOMAD sensor allows to detect multiple violations such as speeding, red light crossing, safety distance, vehicle identification, etc., through its double side tracking system. The NOMAD has been designed to be installed directly on the urban environment and can be installed on any street furniture. It fits in the urban infrastructure through its refined design and little w civil work is required for the setup. Moreover its 3D LiDAR sensor enables a 360-degree vision, an easy set-up and an accurate control.

PARIFEX Selects Quanergy 3D-LiDAR sensors for the VIGIE Double-Side

Paris – July 13, 2021 — PARIFEX, a leading solution provider in project management for speed enforcement and smart cities, today announced that it has expanded its exclusive agreement with Quanergy Systems, Inc., a leading provider of OPA-based solid state LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors and smart 3D solutions for automotive and IoT, to deploy Quanergy’s M-Series 3D-LiDAR sensors in the speed control system VIGIE Double-Side. The new project will be deployed with the French Ministry of Interior, with future expansion to global projects.

The M8 LiDAR sensor from Quanergy features an extended range up to 200 meters and a superior angular beam resolution of 0.033 degrees, enabling highly accurate and reliable detection of speeding violations even in busy, fast-paced highway environments. The sensor will be integrated exclusively into the VIGIE Double-Side solutions by PARIFEX, an extra-urban speed control system able to track, identify and classify different vehicles simultaneously on different lanes and identify the speeding one through a picture of the front and the rear of the vehicle.

PARIFEX offers the only approved LiDAR-based system for speed measurement and control in France. Building on a multi-year partnership, this project will accelerate the goal of achieving safer highway systems.

The fully automated, LiDAR-based VIGIE Double-Side monitors multiple lanes of traffic to detect, classify, and identify vehicles exceeding posted speed limits. This solution simultaneously measures the speed of all vehicles, and it can identify an offending vehicle from hundreds of meters upstream. The solution automatically classifies the category of vehicle (truck, passenger car, motorcycle, etc.) and adapts the speed threshold accordingly.

Paris, June 8, 2021 – PARIFEX, a leading solution provider in project management for smart cities, is pleased to announce it has signed a strategic customer agreement with Ouster, Inc. (NYSE: OUST), a leading provider of high-resolution digital lidar sensors for the industrial automation, smart infrastructure, robotics, and automotive industries, to deploy Ouster’s OS1 sensors on speed enforcement and data collection systems in France.

Ouster has agreed be the exclusive lidar supplier for PARIFEX’s ETU Project (“Radar Urbain”) for the deployment and maintenance of mobile and fixed urban speed lidar enforcement systems in Northern France, with a potential supply demand of 500 sensors through 2025. PARIFEX offers the only approved lidar based system for speed measurement and control in the country.

“We selected Ouster and its OS1 sensor due to the high resolution which enables PARIFEX to meet the future needs in traffic control providing reliable sensors with a high resolution scanning system of the environment and an impressive image precision,” said PARIFEX CEO Franck Peyré.

PARIFEX is already one of the main supplier of road radars to the French Ministry of Interior, and now due to the improvement of its speed control systems using 3D lidar technology, is able to offer a completely new data collection system that can be used to detect mobile speed, stop sign, red light violations, etc.

The Environment as a Major Target

After being awarded ISO 9001 in 2018 for its quality management system, PARIFEX continues to strengthen its management of quality system and become ISO 14001 certified. This certification provides assurance that the environmental impact of the company activities is being measured and improved. It also guarantees that the company aims to provide an optimal quality service to customers.
